FESTA CRIOLA
Celebrating Creole culture & diversity.
Part of 'Lisboa Criola', FESTA CRIOLA was a 4 day event full of music, dance, literature, visual arts and food that aims to celebrate and amplify cultural mix within the city of Lisbon. In the Lisboa Criola project, a series of initiatives that approach, celebrate and promote the socio-cultural mixture were developed. Initiatives with a practical nature, around the creative areas of arts, music, gastronomy, fashion and others, as a unifying hook and shared language among all. A tool to positively awaken involvement, learning and discussion for a more united society.
SOLUTION
The rectangle as a space for expression. The visual elements create true patterns of vibrant colors, which immediately refer to the tapestries and colorful fabrics of Creole culture. Thus, materials are formed with a flexible, dynamic, modular layout, which can be expanded into a complex system.
